I own this model Samsung and have generally good views towards it. It is small and so I easily could attach it to my wall which is very convenient. All though most people frown upon its size I (which is why I put that in negative) actually view this as a good quality as it can go all most anywhere in my room with no problems.
As mentioned in the advantages it is generally a good quality TV due to its good colors and good picture. Another good quality is that, in my experience, is low maintenance as I have never had to replace it or had it fixed in so far 3 years. Furthermore the bottom panel of commands is sensitive which although isn't necessary due to the remote control is very quick and fun.
There are a few negatives however. Firstly aesthetically speaking I am not going to pretend it is anything special compared to other Television models. And although there are other, newer Samsungs and other brands this particular model isn't amazing HD quality. My next point is that it is reasonably small. I personally view this as good because this is convenient for my non spacious room but many view this as a negative quality, I mean after all the bigger the TV the bigger the picture.
Now, I consider this TV to be reasonably small but to make this review more helpful here are the details:
Item Weight---------4.2 Kg
Product Dimensions--6.3 x 64.3 x 39.6 cm
Screen Size---------23.6 inches
Being a father and needing a monitor for work so I can support my children.
I set out and found this little gem, it was pricey and packed full of headache, from the moment I bought it.
I consider all of the aspects in a good monitor, ten years ago, monitors were nothing more than necessary accessories. Today, they can be luxury items that dramatically improve all aspects of computing and content consumption. There are so many types of monitors that suit so many different needs.
Screen resolution, response time, panel weight: everything should be considered when choosing a personal device or an enterprise fleet. Unfortunately, all of these specs can be confusing. We've compiled this roundup to help you sort through the abundance of options available.
One Samsung T24D310 owner who purchased it reckoned that it was good quality. Mr M Pugh mentioned in their Samsung T24D310 review on Amazon "The picture quality is excellent and is packed with great features, 5 star from me" and rated it 5 stars.
Not for me though, firstly. It's simple and elegant design, with a large matte-black finish screen surrounded by a thin bezel. Glossy flat-panel LCDs screens, such as the laptop display you're probably reading this review on, may look better when they're powered off but they're also more susceptible to glare, reflected light from windows and light bulbs. And glossy screens tend to show fingerprints and smudges more readily, which can be a problem if you're a habitual screen-pointer like me. But overall it's just not for me.
I use a large screen monitor at work and this week have been located at a different work station so been using the Samsung T24D310ES monitor. It is more than a monitor as it has a built in TV tuner so I need never leave my desk for my break again, and I am sure that is what my company had in mind when they purchased these monitors.
The monitor is plug and play, the TV needs to be scanned and tuned in as you would expect. This takes very little time and all functions are accessible and ready to be used straight away, the monitor has a headphone socket and USB port to allow you to view photos and other media from a secondary device.
Whatever is viewed on this monitor from moving pictures to text and spreadsheets is extremely clear, colours are vibrant and natural while text is sharp and easily read from the standard distance.
The one disadvantage is that when first switched on the colours appear muted, this remedies itself within two minutes but it is a flaw that I believe shouldn't occur when you have chosen a big brand such as Samsung.
I have encountered no problems while using this monitor and have a two hour break starting in a few minutes so am going to utilise my time watching Avengers Assemble again, that's one bonus of working in an unsupervised environment with a working TV on your desk and a library of downloaded films on your phone!
Priced at £239 so it won't break the bank, not the cheapest TV monitor though but the large 24" screen makes it worth that cost to me.
This television is a good television however it is not one of the best that I have ever had. The TV is 35", a shiny black and comes with HD. In my opinion I think this TV is very good for it's price and for the price it is worth it. In addition, it is very simple to set up and be bale to control.
A pro that I have is that the quality is excellent and once I connected my computer to it and it was way better quality on the TV then if I was to use my computer usually. In addition to this the quality is great because if you go to one of the channels on sky for example with the extra HD added onto it is still really clear which I think is great because I have done this before not on this TV and the quality was dreadful if it isn't on HD.
A con about this product is that it become a bit faulty at times for no clear reason. For example randomly, not very often, we will turning the TV off and it will have no sound. For us to be able to fix this problem we will then have to switch the TV on and off and then it would work again. In my opinion the TV shouldn't do this at all and I feel as though this is a technical error that is occurred here. Overall, I don't think it's the biggest problem and only happens every few months so it is not the worse thing.
I bought this for my gaming room and I thought what a good price for what seems to be a brilliant monitor . It arrived within the days it said so and I was very happy about that. I put it on my desk and linked it up it wasn't to complicated to set up and it fitted well upon my desk . I started playing my games and then thoug this is a brilliant buy . But it just can't handle the top definitions of games . The colours get distorted and fades or goes brighter than it should be . I was dissapointed by this as I play skyrim and thought that this on top Def would be the best . Not to be deterred I decided to run another game . I ran war thunder and that seemed to be alright however the game does not really have the best graphics . And after the extensive playing through my whole library of games I found smaller or older games run better. I got a bit annoyed by the end and decided to go and plug my xbox into the back and see how that handled . I loaded up call of duty and it seemed to be alright . However I loaded up gta5 next and thought that the colours again were a little off . They became to bright and when online it became to dull. However the monitor itself for the price was good enough. However for people who play good quality high fps games this monitor is not for you . However if you play console games I would recommend that you go and buy this . All in all pleased with the product however there are better monitors out there if you have the money .
My parents have had this in their room for the past four months. This TV has a screen size of 24 inches and is HD-ready. I'm not sure as to how to write a 'fluid' review of this screen so I'll separate it into why you should buy, and why you (perhaps) shouldn't.
Reasons to buy:
- It has a very low annual energy consumption in comparison to LEDs that are similar to this. Most LEDs have an energy consumption between 24 and 95 kilowatt hours, and the Samsung T24D310ES falls in at 47 kilowatt hours annually. This is obviously a pro because low energy consumption means less money to pay towards you bills (especially if the TV is on for 10-12 hours like in my house!)
- According to Kagoo, there has been a price drop in this screen of just over £20.
- It has both a wide vertical viewing angle, and a wide horizontal viewing angle.
- It is a good size, particularly if used for the bedroom, e.g., children could use the screen whilst playing video games.
- Samsung is a well known, respectable brand so you can be confident that this screen will be of good quality - and it is, with lots of other positive reviews.
Reasons to not buy:
- It doesn't have a WiFi connection, although this is within the context that most of the other small screen size LED screens that are of a similar age to this also do not have a WiFi connection (it's also not a smart TV).
- It is not 3D compatible
- The screen may not be big enough, as 24 inches is essentially a regular size.
I calculated the average reviews for all Samsung LED displays and specifically for Samsung small TVs and found that in both cases Samsung had excellent reviews compared to other manufacturers. Samsung cases nice and smooth for me.
Features Four Dolby Technologies
The number of Dolby technologies featured on the T24D310ES is more than most recently released comparable spec TVs. The most frequently featured Dolby technology is Digital Plus, but this Dolby technology is not featured on this LED television. The Dolby technologies Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby Digital Pulse, DTS Premium Sound 5.1 and DTS Studio Sound are also featured on this LED screen.
Analogue & Digital Tuner
This LED television has an Analogue & Digital tuner, which is typical of many latest small TVs.
Wide Vertical Viewing Angle
With a vertical viewing angle of 178 degrees, the T24D310ES has one of the wider vertical viewing angles amongst similar spec LED screens of this age. The narrowest vertical viewing angle of recently released small TVs is 120°, the widest is 180display the average vertical viewing angle is 170°.
Wide Horizontal Viewing Angle
The T24D310ES has a quite wide horizontal viewing angle (178 degrees) compared to most of the other similar spec TVs that were launched in the last 12 months. The narrowest horizontal viewing angle of new small TVs is 140° and the widest is 180°.
Good n excellent for me...
