      Worth the money

To begin with I will talk about the size. It is as wide as a standard DVD player, but at least four times as tall. This makes it quite a dominating unit if used with a TV or as part of an audio only system. The power of the unit, 280W, means it can drive almost any speaker and you can get a lot of volume out of them. It has 9.2 channels which means you can have 9 speakers connected to it along with 2 sub-woofers meaning you can have a complete surround system, but as most blurays only have audio for 5.1, it is technically better than needed in that department. It has a standard headphone socket and it has connections so you can run your CD player, DVD player, Sky TV, and game console through it so you can get crystal clear sound for all of these. The only problem is that you need speakers that utilise the sound quality this unit produces, and your looking at another five hundred pounds for this, but if you already have a system set-up that requires a top quality amplifier, then there is no point skimping out on the speakers!
