      Super fast laptop

Fairly great laptop. I was impressed with the speed of this computer. It was super fast and saved me a hell lot of time. The speed never changed since I have been using it. And I have used it for about a year and half now. And also this laptop is super quiet which completely shocked me because comparing to the speed I was expecting the laptop to be super loud when loading stuff, but it was quite quiet. Unfortunately the speaker wasn't the best, when I watch YouTube videos, the sound is like someone trying to talk but lost their voice. But since I do not need the sound that often, it doesn't really matter to me. The keyboard is one of the wonders, it's coherent and easy to use. I just simply tap the keys and the letters will appear on the screen. The display like the sound wasn't the best but it was ok for me because I was just using it for plain research. But if you are edit animations or films etc. Don't buy this laptop the same for if you are a music maker, this is bottle best. But for research and making documents this is the best because of the amazing speed, I personally couldn't hope for a faster laptop. The design is not my favourite, it feels plastic and the screen also a tablet is kind of thick and thicker than I expected but still I love the idea of having a tablet with a keyboard so it can be two at the same time. It's also good for travelers because this is light and easy to take around with. Overall, amazing laptop and I must mention the speed again because it is the fastest.

      Good laptop! I love it!

The HP 2 in 1 Envy 13 j001ng laptop has a simple sleek look, is light, has a great screen, very easy to set-up (even for a non-computer whizz such as myself), and overall is very user-friendly. The HP 2 in 1 Envy 13 j001ng is cheap and a bit bland-looking, but its powered by a class Intel processor, with a high-resolution screen so you can see clearly .The Battery time is great, and it has an on-screen reminder of when to plug it in for charging or to plug out the battery when full charge is reached. I would say this laptop would be perfect for someone who mainly needs it for browsing the internet, watching movies or playing games, or simply office work. The HP 2 in 1 Envy 13 j001ng feels solid, and packs a nice keyboard and a fair amount of battery life (up to 6 hours). You will obviously need Wi-Fi connection; the Laptop runs a Microsoft browser-based Windows OS, and while the operating system has come a long way your options are still limited once you're disconnected.
The HP 2 in 1 Envy 13 j001ngis based on the cheaper end of the spectrum. It is made out of plastic and weighs at a total of 1.2kg, which is not bad for a laptop; its definitely not heavy in my hands or when carrying it in a bag, so very good. You could say the laptop is stylish too: there's a shiny little finish bordering the track pad, and the keyboard buttons are arrange in a modern style to give you that eccentric look and feel when using the laptop

      HP's Envy x2

All interfaces of the Envy x2 are installed in the tablet unit. Following the Yoga 3, HP's Envy x2 is one of the first devices on the market that is based on Intel's new Broadwell technology. HP has created a convertible with multimedia mannerisms, not least due to the installed Beats Audio speakers. Our test will uncover other talents of the Envy x2.

HP presents its new ENVY 13-j001ng x2 convertible. The manufacturer sees it as a flexible, elegant, and always ready for use all-rounder. Intel's new Core M chip that clocks with 1.1 GHz alongside the integrated Intel HD Graphics 5300 graphics solution should ensure that. The review sample additionally features 8 GB of working memory and a 256 GB SSD storage device, which is to prevent long waiting times. A high-quality, Full HD, IPS screen provides the necessary clear view. The total package is rounded off with Beats Audio components.

      Great Laptop By HP

This is Great Laptop by HP. The touchpad's size of 11 x 6.7 cm is pleasing. Navigating is quick and accurate owing to the suave surface. Images are rendered on a Samsung IPS screen in 1920x1080 pixels. The glare surface has an impressive average brightness of 368.3 cd/m² that the contenders cannot provide. The Envy x2 is to be in no way inferior to a conventional laptop. Intel's new Core M-5Y70 (Broadwell) processor with a base clock of 1.1 GHz, which can increase its clock to 2.6 GHz via Turbo mode, should ensure that. The 8 GB of working memory operates in dual-channel mode. Intel's Core M-5Y70 has a base clock of 1.1 GHz, which can be boosted up to 2.6 GHz for short moments via Turbo mode. Thus, the processor has an unusually large margin. Cinebench R15 will illustrate in which league the new CPU line plays. The multi-core score of 182 points is considerably lower than that of the contenders. The convertible makes use of a 256 GB Samsung solid state drive to ensure swifter response times. The used graphics solution is based on the selected CPU here because Intel's HD Graphics 5300 is directly integrated into the Intel Core M-5Y70. Its preferred application scenarios are basic office and multimedia tasks. After all this is a Great Laptop.

HP has out done themselves on this laptop

This is the third Kirabook model we've reviewed since 2013, and the look and feel of the laptop's body is essentially unchanged (much like the MacBook Pro we keep comparing it to). The body is made of a magnesium alloy, which is both lighter and stronger than aluminum, and the desktop footprint is noticeably smaller than the 13-inch MacBook Air or Pro. At a hair under 3 pounds, it weighs the same as the Air, less than the 13-inch MacBook Pro. The Lenovo LaVie Z is around 2 pounds, and the lightest Core i7 laptop by a wide margin.

The gentle brushed-metal look across the back of the lid and the keyboard tray is upscale, but hardly distinctive. Especially over the past few years, Toshiba has played it very close to the vest in terms of laptop aesthetics. But the trim design does have one especially useful feature. The body is shallower than most 13-inch laptops, thanks to a smart layout of the keyboard and touchpad in the interior tray. That means the Kirabook is especially well-suited for airline seats or anywhere else you need to squeeze into a tight space.

The keyboard feels unchanged since the previous Kirabook we reviewed, but since then, we've seen and used some excellent new space-saving laptop keyboards from Dell, apple and others. Compared to some of the 2015 competition, the keyboard here now feels held back by small-surface-area keys and an overall plastic feel. There's still very little flex under your fingers while typing, which is a positive feature we called out in the previous model.

I actually can't completely understand the final weighted rating parameters and conclusion. If I need to go by the final rating of 77%, I will easily skip it out for something like surface pro or other 80+% tablets, but after seeing conclusion, which states that it is a versatile and good all rounder, I might as well be confused, what is actually good ? And the bad ratings for connectivity s understandable for a normal notebook, but if we see it in hybrid scenario, the standalone connectivity is actually good for end user.

I got this laptop/tablet two month ago and I’m really very happy I did as I’m satisfied with almost everything I’m getting from it. The HP's Envy x2 is one of the first devices on the market that is based on Intel's new Broad well technology.
The casing of the Envy x2 consists of two parts. The tablet features a casing of noble aluminum and some plastic elements. The screen and its black plastic bezel are encircled by a metal frame. The speakers, including printed Beats Audio logo, are on the left and right. The device's front is adorned with a chrome-colored bezel. Not only its looks are appealing, but also its feel. The maximum height of 1.4 cm in the screen's lower area makes the convertible particularly thin. The device undercuts its contenders even when the keyboard is connected, with 1.9 cm. The casing nevertheless makes a robust impression and is a lightweight with 1266 grams (1796 grams w/ keyboard) compared with the comparison devices. Two different textile parts cover the keyboard. The underside shows a dotted gray and white pattern. In contrast to that, an elegant and soft leather look is on the upper side. However, it is not as favorable that the edges are only made of loose material strips that also protrude when the device is closed. To stick to the topic of build, one key in the keyboard of our review sample was strikingly loose. Otherwise, the tablet's build is very satisfactory. A loop for a digitizer has additionally been sewn onto the keyboard unit's right.
The installed network adapter is Intel's 7265NGW module. Data can be transferred with up to 104 Mbps. To test the throughput rate in everyday life, we used a non-standardized test in the author's setup to ascertain the average download speed. The test was set up one story below the router, and an Apple MacBook Pro Retina 13 (late 2013) was used for comparison. HP's Envy x2 achieved an average of 2.9 Mbps. The MacBook is considerably faster with 7 Mbps. Both contenders reached the same speeds when we moved the test to the same story as the router.
Videos shot with the Full HD camera run smoothly, but they exhibit slight color deviations and evident noise. It should nevertheless suffice for video chat
No accessories were included for the review sample apart from a few brochures. A mouse (50 Euros, ~$62) and additional Bluetooth speakers (130 Euros, ~$163) are offered on the official Envy 13 website. The digitizer loop on the keyboard unit is meant for HP's Executive Tablet Pen G2 (53 Euros, ~$66) that can be used for handwritten notes as well as a mouse replacement. According to HP, product details will be available late December. I must confess these product is more than okey.

This will be a good buy for you

I got this laptop/tablet not long ago and I’m really happy I did as I’m satisfied with almost everything I’m getting from it. The HP's Envy x2 is one of the first devices on the market that is based on Intel's new Broad well technology. I’m happy that HP has been able to create a convertible with multimedia mannerisms, not least due to the installed Beats Audio speakers which I’m in love with.
I was not completely taken by the HP Envy X2 at first. It sometimes felt like a chore to use, mainly because of the layout of its keyboard and touch-pad, and also because of the performance of its touch-pad. For notebook usage while resting it on a desk, I use a different keyboard and a dedicated mouse rather than the fold-up, detachable one.
I think of this device as a giant’s beautifully built Windows 8 hybrid laptop with detachable trends which can also be used as tablets on the go. This laptop uses Windows 8 32-bit to give user the full windows experience rather than the hobbled Windows RT that was found in other tablet.
Some of the key reasons why I love this system are its ability to run any x86 PC program without problem, the very attractive design and light weight of only 700g. Thanks to the IPS screen and very good battery life, the HP Envy x2 has been able to satisfy my daily needs such as web browsing, email, or running light apps. Thanks to a fast SSD and Intel’s new Clover Trail architecture, even HD video playback and non 3D-gaming apps runs smoothly without lag.
At a premium price tag of almost £999.99, there are many alternative options out there from mid-range laptop to tablet with Intel’s low voltage core-i5 processor, which can get the job done. However, if you are dead-set on a detachable screen type laptop and money is not a big concern, this might be the right choice for you as it will be money well spent for you
The Intel HD Graphics 5300: Integrated graphics card (GT2) is another issue for gamers and people with graphics flares. Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards but the latter set of people may have to look elsewhere.

        Advantages

        • portability

        Disadvantages

        • "clumsiness of keyboard"

The good side outweighs the down side

I bought the HP 2 in 1 Envy 13j001 ng because of its portability because I move around a lot and it gives the functionality of both a laptop and tablet. It is very attractive when we talk about it design wise. I noticed that its battery life even when I used it in laptop mode is very durable and I don't have to pass through the hassle of having to charge it all the time on my travels. It feels very light to carry. One thing that strikes me as a good feature when i was using it was the presence of an HDMI jack on the left side of the system which can allow you to connect other media devices easily. There is a USB 2.0 jack also on the left side along with another USB 2.0 jack on the right side. There is also a micro SD card slot, a headphone port and also a docking port that can be used to connect the keyboard. There is a latch that holds the keyboard in place when you want to use it in a full laptop way so that you don't really have the fear of it falling off or something. The Envy 2 in 1 13 j001ng runs a 1.8GHz Intel Atom processor which doesn't make it the fastest computer around. It doesn't support Directx 11, so high end games are not supported. A downside for the system for me is the clumsiness of the keyboard which should be really looked at and improved on.

a laptop and a tablet rolled into 1 which although is quite expensive at £999.99 but it is truly worth for this mind blowing experience. I love it simply because of its touchscreen which is quick and responsive and makes searching the internet easy and comfortable. The laptop has a sleek design and is incredible portable meaning it is perfect for students. Also it runs Microsoft's latest windows 8.1, which is truly user friendly and contains many easy features which help make your life much easy and enjoyable. The magnets that hold the keyboard and tablet together are very strong meaning that the tablet will not separate until you want it to. The keyboard itself has a sleek design and has beautifully crafted keys which makes work much easier but then you can easily switch from work to recreational using the tablet feature. But the trackpad on the keyboard is quite small but i rarely use it, mostly I use the touchscreen which makes life a lot easier. As a tablet it is very fast and portable but as a laptop it is quite slow when compared to it's rivals but its still gets the job done although you are unlikely to play huge amounts of games on it because it will likely crash. Furthermore you cannot store lots of files of films because it only has a very small storage size but you can use the SD slot to expand the memory by 128GB which is plenty. Although it is expensive i would still recommend this to anyone who uses it, i absolutely love it!!!

It is a very good device

This is a very good laptop. i have been using it for more than 2 weeks and i like it very much. A major advantage of HP 2 in 1 Envy 13 j001ng is that it can be used both as a laptop and also as a tablet pc. The windows 8 OS is working very smoothly on this device. It has a very good battery life and it works for more than 2 hours in laptop mode and 3 hours in tablet mode. Another good feature is the touch screen which is very smooth and sensitive. In my opinion I recommend this product to all for both office and home use.
