I never had acne before... but recently I started having whiteheads on my chin and forhead it's really bothering me and although I keep eating fruit, veges, grean tea, and green juices, it helped a little bit but when I went to the doctor he prescirbed Dalacin T topical lotion along with NOBACTER soap, I wash my face twice a day with the soap and then apply Dalacin T lotion on my chin and forhead and before I go to sleep I apply Nivea to moisturize my slin, the results are amazing and I will keep on using it...
Hi there..I use dalacin t topical solution starting last month. Some of pimple over my face faded.I hope my skin become clear as soon as possible.
Dalacin T works wonders for me although I wish it were cheap enough to use all over my back which has severe acne. Just a few applications are needed overa short space of time and ... the pimple is dried up and inflammation is minimal.
I'm 26 and since I was 21 (never as a teenager!) I always had two or three spots but never nothing very serious. Six months ago I started getting more and more spots and tried a few things like Clearasil and Benzoyl Peroxide which only made my skin more irritated.
One month ago I went to the doctor and he prescribed me with the pill and with Dalacin. I believe that Dalacin is good to help you clear your skin and I also believe you can do more to make it better.
I've also stopped using any products with chemicals and I'm using only natural cleansers and moisturizers. I use a good natural gentle exfoliator and do a facial steam (with some tea tree oil drops) followed by a clay mask once a week. I'm also trying not to drink alchool for a while and I avoid refined sugars (white sugar, white rice.. ), caffeine (not good for your hormones) and dairy food - specially cheese.
I've got an aloe vera plant and sometimes i apply some gel on my scars to make them heal faster.
I'm still not sure how effective this lotion is. Someone here has said it took her one week to be pimple free.. I cannot say the same thing unfortunately.
It is slowly getting better but don't expect miracles.. it takes time and patience and no picking or squeezing at the spots even if it's tempting to.
Also as my skin was getting better I stopped using this for a couple of days and straightaway I got new spots. Do not stop it til your doctor tells you so.
so your wondering if its any good ....let me tell you my story i had had acne for several years and i felt like i was doomed to spots all my life ... i had tried previously clearasil , clean & clear , avon , t zone , witch...well none of it worked ...it either made it worse or it was far too harsh and made my skin red and blotchy finally i went to the doctor they prescribe me Benzoyl Peroxide...it was terrible made my acne go worse i was ashamed to out in public after several months i was perscribed Dalacin T topical lotion i was a bit unsure about it because of the reactions with other treatments but my doctor ensured me i was very unlikely to have a reaction so i tryed it and the doctor was right sensitive with my skin ..nothing happens at first but after a week my acne started to fade and i stopped getting new spots with 4 weeks my acne was 99% gone ....it was fantastic i only wish i would of turned to it sooner so try it yourself....all the best
i have had acne for several years and i have tried loads of treatments from avon , clearasil, clean & clear, and the natural stuff but none of them worked ...finally i went to the doctor he prescribed me benzoyl peroxide and that was very harsh! so i went back and they gave me dalacin T lotion....it was the best treatment soo far it wasnt harsh and worked like a cure.!! and only in 4 weeks.
I am in my 40s and still getting spots. Two years ago I went through a stage of growing a new one every day. I tried every useless product and nothing worked. Last straw I went to the doctor who prescribed Dalacin lotion. I used it day and night and within 3-4 weeks the spots had gone. I use it sparingly now when a new "nasty" appears which is rare. Brilliant stuff in my experience.
In my opinion, I would say that this product is perfect for people who have acne and also have sensitive skin. I have used this product for a couple of years and have barely had acne since. I went to my Doctor as a finalist, complaining of poor skin. I expected her to tell me to stop being silly, but she genuinely took an interest. She said that as my skin looked sensitive she would prescribe me Dalacin T "as not to make my skin sore and red". I believe as a water based product it is more gentle on the skin. So acne sufferers take note, if you have been sore and red in the face, you could be being prescribed something which is too harsh for your skin. The application is easy and only takes a couple of minutes. I even went backpacking last year and thus had little time to spend applying skin care products, yet still other travellers commented on my good skin. If I were you, I would go to the Doctor's and give it a go! You will have to pay the prescription charge for a couple of bottles. However, it is likely to work out cheaper than spending money on expensive skincare products and is also money worth spent if it puts your mind at rest!
Dalacin T is a lotion which is applied directly to the skin twice a day to cure acne. It can sting a little at first, but it is just a slight tingle, but you soon become used to the product. I applied the lotion morning and evening just after washing my face. The liquid come in a 30ml bottle, with a dispensor at the top so thet you don't have to touch your skin with your fingers. Dalacin T can be worn under make-up. Just make sure it is dry before applying your foundation. I first started getting spots when I was 15 years old. But by the time I was 16, they had turned into moderate acne. It was a very depressing time, and I just wanted to fee normal and have clear skin like everybody else. I used to wear my hair down all the time, so that it would cover up my face because I felt so ashamed. I tried many products from the pharmacy, like Oxy, containing Benzel Peroxide, but this didn't shift them. So I went to see the doctor. I was prescirbed with Dalacin T Topical solution. After the first 2 weeks of using it, i stopped getting new blemishes. Then after about a year the red marks began to fade. I was then left with slight red scars. I went to see thr doctor about these who referred me to a determotolist. Then determotologist siad that I could have laser treatment on the NHS. I had to wait for a year, but when I had turned 18, I finally had the treatment. My skin was clear at last. I then stopped using the Dalain T. This was a mistake. A few months later I started to get spots again. So I re-visitied the doctor and asked if I could have more Dalacin T. She said this would be ok. Overall, Dalacin T is highly affective for treating acne. It certainly worked for me. You just have to be patient! But even when your spots have gone, it is better to keep using it to avoid them coming back.
Used in the treatment of acne vulgaris.
