      Fun to play doctors

My daughter have owned this set for a while now and I think we bought it from Tesco originally, it is currently on sale in Asda and like you can see in the picture there are two sets available a tool set and a doctors kit.

The set comes packaged in a blue case with a build in carry handle, it is very obvious the set is Little Tikes as the case has the logo emblazoned on it. There was no packaging for the case of the et but inside everything was in a plastic layer so the pieces all had to be pushed out when we first opened it but that as easy to do.

The set has a number of doctors items in it, there are a set of stethoscopes which are white in colour with some yellow bits on it. The ear pieces are rubber and they click into the plastic of the stethoscope which we had a problem with as my children kept unclicking them and in the end I just took them away as I was worried my youngest would swallow them.

The other tools inside the set are a little kidney shaped tray which I presume is like what is used in surgery, there is a scalpel, a tool for testing reflexes, a pair of scissors, a pair of tweezers and a tool for looking into your eyes and ears.

The pieces of the set are all in either blue, orange or grey, the pieces are all made of hard plastic apart from the rubber of the stethoscope and they are well made. The pieces have been played with a lot and apart from where my youngest has chewed bits and left teeth marks there are no signs of wear and tear.

The girls love to play doctors, they use the tools as they are intended and they often come and say to me that I am their patient. The pieces are all a perfect size for little hands, my 3 year old cannot work the tweezers but my eldest daughter can.

The girls have got a Doc Mcstuffins doctors set too but they seem to prefer playing with this one, they spend ages pretending they are in a doctors surgery and my eldest writes everyone in the house appointments before calling you in for your operation. Both girls get loads of fun from this and when they don't both want to play they will play doctors on their teddies and dolls instead.

I think we paid £8 for the set and I would say it is fantastic quality and a decent price, certainly gets 5 stars from our household.
