      Would recommend

Most cameras will be pretty good at what they go and then differentatiorcan be very subtle - all of competition is pushing the boundaries and every factor seems to involve a superlative. This is a high resolution (20.3mp), fast (1/6000 shutter speed and 8.6fps) twin mode (still or full hd video) camera with a fast auto focus and responsive to almost everything.

LCD screen is a good size to make composition pretty easy, pivots upwards to 90 degrees to the body (useful for low level shots) and also down to about 45 degrees for those higher ones. There isn't an intergrating view finder and the screen is the only means by which to compose shots. Although the screen has been designed to cope with brightly lit conditions this could present problems with glare for some users and others may simply prefer using a view finder for composition.

The screen is touch sensitive and you can take a shot with a touch of the screen (to the extent that it's worth turning the camera off if you are walking with it bouncing against you). It is also possible to identify and tack a subject in a busy scene with sharply focused results

Beautiful face: Automatic programming to correct facial imperfections. Quite impressive evening out skin tones and blemishes.

Landscape: Increased green and blue saturation without the need for filters.

Panorama: Automatic splicing together of a series of photographs together to create one image. You keep the shutter release pressed whilst filling the preview screen with the image you wish to take, which is then presented with no visable joins.

Video: The recording button is located towards the top right on the rear of the camera, a position I think makes it more difficult to inadvertently catch when trying to film a still shot. You are limited to the lower of 30 minutes of video and a file size of 4gb per shot.

Pros: Small, rebuts body, making the camera a highly portable option. Lots of automatic shooting features to help you get the best shot each time. A tilting LCD with touch-sensitive menu and focusing.

Cons: No built in view finder. No built in flash (a small flash is supplied)

Overall I like it. The supplied 30-50mm lens provides a good all round option for both video and stills. Samsung has a range of lenses so you could add to your collection. The battery is charged in camera via a mini USB, the lead that is supplied is fairly short this is a good little camera that offers a wealth of options that should keep any photographer happy!

An excellent product: Value for money, a quality you don't get anywhere else :3

Having received this from my sister after she got a DSLR for work and it's worked a treat for me! Light and compact without sacrificing the image quality (with HD function as well). Being able to upload directly from the camera to the internet is a plus+ (once you have a decent internet connection, that is). It's also got some technological features that I've really enjoyed, such as the i-Function which lets you change setting like ISO and exposure using the lens focus ring. This makes everything really easy for smooth and speedy changes when moving around different environments. Also, the pull-out screen made some angles a lot easier to shot from, for the abstract picture taker. I'm used to using DSLRs and get very frustrated by the drop in quality on compact cameras but this felt like a happy medium between professional and casual, which is excellent for the perfectionist that likes to have great quality for a lower price.
Speaking of price, this camera is excellent value for money.
I only had one major problem with the camera and that was the lack of a flash. It doesn't come with one built-in and it's really frustrating when trying to take pictures at night, where the quality is ruined by the lack of light. It's supposed to come with an attachable one but it's just as annoying as having to carry around lens caps and other equipment, especially when you're taking spur-of-the-moment pictures.

        • "Built in wifi"
        • "Impressive range of options"
        • Lightweight
        • "Well Balanced and Handles well"
        • "Amazing Image Quality "
        • "Super fast Auto focus"
        • "Responsive touch screen"
        • "Awesome camera"

        Disadvantages

        • " "
        • "Lens costs and accessories are expensive"
        • "No Manual Viewfinder"
        • "Lack of even a basic built in flash"

The NX300 is an Awesome Camera, worth every penny.

I was given this camera as a gift and I love it, The image quality is fab, all the features are great, I love the wifi and connect-ability. Take an Awesome Shot and upload it in seconds.
The only drawbacks are ... The lack of Viewfinder for bright light and a flash for in the dark.
So in perfect daylight the camera is perfect!

I like the weight and balance of this camera, it feels comfortable to hold and stood upto a 600 shots in an hour and a half prom static shoot and a busy day at a convention without my arm falling off. with the static shoot the wide screen worked really well, but at the convention I really missed the viewfinder especially for outside shots.

The fast focus and auto focus modes were great for the after party to capture the usual shenanigans, even when I was a little bit 'wobbly' myself the pictures came out crisp and clear.

Yes it is on the 'expensive side' and extra lenses and accessories are expensive too but what you get for your money is fab, extra packed with features, tough and durable and the battery lasts and lasts.

if it had a viewfinder and even a basic built in flash it would be perfect

So to the person who bought me this fab camera, Thank you so much it has made my life easier and given me some fab shoots, we have a mermaid shoot this weekend and I'm dying to try out some of the modes I havent tried yet.

Great camera from a fantastic friend!!

I got this camera as a present from a friend (a very good friend) and was amazed at how easy it was to get used to, not to mention that I'd just been presented with a rather expensive gift when all I'd bought for him was a bottle champers (nightmare).

I had been looking for a new camera as my old one was full of sand from our holiday to Spain where my lovely partner dropped it on the beach.. Breath....

I'd read many reviews and lots of models and makes but came to the decision to just give up as my taste was getting too expensive.

This camera was on my wish list. I loved that it has built in wifi that could be connected to send the pictures to my phone or even to my social media sites. And all so easy to do.
As someone who likes to have very long nails the fact that the touch screen is large is so great because I'm all thumbs and can be very impatient, but this screen is so responsive I love it.

I'm also a relatively shaky photographer and my photos almost always come out horribly out of focus or blurry. This camera has a fast focus feature/mode (I'm a bit of a novice with cameras so don't know if they all have this feature) that is just a god send. No more blurry pictures of the kids!

Over all I abso love this camera I think it's really snazzy looking and just takes a fantastic photo even in dull weather. That being said its a little bit hefty but I got used to that.

If it was down to me I probably wouldn't have bought it for myself as it's hugely expensive but now that ive used it I would definitely recommend it to my friends.

        Advantages

        • "Faster to focus"
        • "The sensor is new for starters."

        Disadvantages

        • "The price is high"

NX300 it close to a clean sweep that it is easy to recommend without hesitation.

The NX300 is Samsung's latest flagship snapper, topping off the NX range of compact system cameras and sporting a truckload of attention-grabbing features, including a capacities touchscreen and the second generation of Wi-Fi driven Smart Camera functions
Function control system, low light performance, APS-C sensor, large and bright articulated screen, resolution; plenty of hand for beginners that does not get in the way of more experienced users, bundled light room software.
It ships with a choice of lens : either the 18-55 mm unit bundled with our review sample or a shorter 20-50 mm option. They offer 3x and 2.5x zoom respectively, equivalent to 27.7-84.7 mm and 30.8-77 mm camera. In each case, maximum aperture stands at f/3.5 at wide angle and f/5.6 at full telephoto, both of which are pretty much par for the course in lenses of this caliber.
You can shoot movies directly from any regular shooting mode at 1920*1080, 60 fps progressive. If you are invested in the 3D lens the frame rate is halved. The results are on par with its stills, with accurate colors and a good level of detail thought. The soundtrack is cleanly recorded too, so long as you are not standing in to stiff a breeze, as even with wind cut active it was audible on the soundtrack.
It is accurate, too with an excellent hit rate in picking your subject out of its surroundings, and even if it dos not the touch screen lets you tap wherever you want it to direct its attention.
The NX line-up was already strong, and the NX300 solidifies its position as one of the best compact system camera options currently on sale.
